  LIVER

  Way before Centrum and Flintstones, nature gave us LIVER. The OG multivitamin. Teeming with vitamins D, E, K, B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B7 (biotin) B9 (folate), B12, C, copper, iron, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, and zinc, it is literally the ultimate superfood. Liver is also known to be one of the most concentrated sources of vitamin A of any food.  In terms of variety and concentration of micronutrients, NO OTHER whole food stacks up. The nutrients in liver are simply the most bioavailable (best absorbed and utilized by our body).  Liver is one of the few dietary sources of bioavailable vitamin K2 (menaquinone, not to be confused with K1, phylloquinone, the much less bioavailable, plant-based version) and hyaluronic acid. Getting sufficient amounts of Vitamin K2 is important for calcium absorption, bone formation, blood clotting, heart health, and more.
